Conventions/Seminars:
Each year we alternate between a statewide Convention/Trade Show and Educational Seminars. Members receive a discount to WACTAL sponsored programs.

Membership Newsletter: This monthly newsletter, for members only, includes legislative updates, events around the state, survey and other information of interest to members.

Wisconsin Auto Body News: Space is provided to members, at no charge, for classified advertisements, such as buy/sell and help wanted ads.

Scholarships: Each year WACTAL awards scholarships to student(s) pursuing a career in collision repair. Eligible applicants must be a graduating high school senior (Wisconsin resident) planning to enroll in a collision repair program at a NATEF-Certified Wisconsin Technical College. College must also be a WACTAL member.

Membership Sign: Signs are leased to members for a one time fee and may be used and display as long as the business remains a member in good standing of WACTAL.

Motorist Bill of Rights Brochure: The Motorist Bill of Rights, are available to WACTAL members. Contact the WACTAL office for pricing and ordering.

Customer Service Survey (CSS) Program: The WACTAL CSS program offers members a reasonably priced avenue to knowing how their customers perceive the quality of repair and service they received.

Campout: Open to members only, the annual campout includes games, golfing, plenty of food and an opportunity to enjoy a family weekend with your fellow members.

Membership Directory: WACTAL publishes a membership directory, listing current members, officers and directors. Each member receives a copy of the directory.

Membership Mailings: Technical information, legislative alerts, etc. are mailed to WACTAL members.
Lobbyist: WACTAL’s lobbyist works with the WACTAL board of directors on issues affecting small business, particularly collision repair facilities.

SCRS (Society of Collision Repair Specialists): WACTAL is an affiliate of SCRS, a national organization.

Legislative Handbook: Available to members only, this 3-ring binder contains copies of ATCP 132, Title Branding law, Mechanic’s Lien, Aftermarket Parts
Disclosure law and more. The cost of the handbook includes updates.

Insurance Programs: Group health insurance, garagekeeper’s liability and workman’s compensation insurance are available to WACTAL members. All programs offer you the ability to work with your local independent agent and feature a discount or enhancements only available to members. The garagekeepers and workman’s comp. is with West Bend Mutual Insurance.
